Training cancellation policy

LTL Academy

We acknowledge that sometimes there is a need to cancel your enrolment from a course/training workshop. If you cannot attend, or no longer require a place, please provide notice of cancellation at least 14 working days prior to the course start date. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in your being charged the full course/training workshop fee.

If you are unable to attend the course you are booked on, you may substitute, by prior arrangement and after notifying us via email (info@LTLAcademy.com), someone else from your organisation on one occasion.

If you are unable to attend, and not in a position to substitute your place to another person then the following charges will apply:

Classroom Training Courses

  • 16-12 weeks before the course: 25% of the fee
  • 12-8 weeks before the course:  50% of the fee
  • 8-2 weeks before the course: 75% of the fee
  • Less than 14 days before the course: 100% of the fee.

Funds are usually returned within a few hours of us making a refund. In some situations funds may take 7 days to appear back in an account.

If a course or booking is cancelled by us: we will return 100% of the money received for the cancelled booking.

* we reserve the right to deduct any unrecoverable payment processing costs.

Please note that full payment is required for non-attendance on a booking that has been transferred.

This is in line with our contractual agreement with external consultants and the venue cost. It includes any accommodation booked through LTL Academy. Notice of cancellation must be sent in writing or by email to the LTL Course Administrator. Failure to provide any notice will result in you being charged the full course/training workshop fee and associated costs.

If a course or booking is cancelled by us: we will return 100% of the money received for the cancelled booking.

Conference cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend the conference you are booked on, you may substitute, by prior arrangement and after notifying us, someone else from your organisation.

If you are unable to attend, and cannot or do not wish to give the place to someone else in your organisation, we may accept the fee paid as payment towards a place on the same or another conference that takes place within 12 months following the originally booked event.

Such a transfer will be on condition that we are informed in writing of your intentions four weeks prior to the originally booked event. Bookings can only be transferred once.

If you are unable to attend, and not in a position either to transfer your place to another person or to another event, then the following charges will apply:

Cancellation charges – conferences

  • 12-6 weeks before the conference: 25% of the fee
  • 6 weeks before the conference:  No refunds available but name of delegate can be transferred

Please note that full payment is required for non-attendance on a booking that has been transferred.

Refund Terms

Percentage refunds are based on the total course fee, not the amount paid at the time of cancellation. Time periods are calculated from the start time and date of a training course, not the end date of the course.

IMPORTANT: all refunds are minus any payment processing costs that are incurred by TriExForces Ltd. From August 2023 most online payments e.g. via PayPal will incur costs i.e. we have to pay for the online transaction even if we refund it. These costs will be deducted from the amount refunded to the client.

Course cancellation initiated by LTL Academy

Occasionally it is necessary for courses to be cancelled, or rescheduled by our company due to insufficient numbers. The Course Administrator will send an email to advise you of the cancellation and, if possible provide a new date for the course. We will endeavour to give at least 14 working days notice prior to the course start date.
